Once you have a child, certain words seem to come up often. One of those is the word milestone. At this age your child should be... While there are general benchmarks for these milestones, you should not be discouraged if your child seems to be behind. Tubby took two years to speak, mind, he was learning two languages. I wasn't worried. Now he can read in both languages as well. He was encouraged at every turn by us and some learning toys, books and songs.

Vtech can help you and your child, starting from birth, to achieve some mental and physical skills progress. They have developed toys based on their Expert Panel of six members, including Dr. Lise Eliot, who also provide guidance through the Milestones online resource for parents wanting to learn more.

Tubbette is another story in terms of milestones. She has been scooting backwards for a few months and only very recently has she taken a few careful, short crawl steps forward. Boy, were we excited! And a little worried - she's going to take off one day and surprise us all. Shoes and toys and laundry will be all over the floor. For now she got to 'expert' test out some Vtech toys. The information below is from the manufacturer.
